Fabric yardage

My post tonight might be a bit of a cop out, but I think this is incredibly useful information. Apartment Therapy posted about appropriate yardage for various upholstery projects - click on over and check it out (I'm making sure to save it to use as a guideline in the future!). I am usually scared of being JUST short on fabric, so I end up buying more than I need and thereby spending more than I need to. Their post provides a guide with many different styles of furniture, and the approximate yardage you will need for a re-upholstery project.

Are you kidding? This is not a cop out. This is a wealth of information for those of us who can't calculate yardage to save our lives and either end up with 10 extra yards or being 3 inches short on every project:)
