We biked to Tommy Thompson park which I had heard of but had never been to:
It's a pretty neat place and since cars aren't permitted, you have a nice paved loop to cycle on. You also get to see views like this:
This photo looks really dark - I swear it was a nice day, despite the clouds! Anyways, you end up on the other side of Toronto Island, which provides some nice views. The park itself could use some work - it has loads of "debris" on one side - rebar, bricks, random building material. If they did some work and cleaned it up it could truly be the urban oasis they claim it is. We then cycled onto Ashbridge's bay / the beaches, and then weaved our way home.
The rest of the weekend was spent visiting friends, doing a lot of baking, and a bit of relaxing. Hope you all had a great weekend!
