What are you reading?

I hope all my Canadian readers had a great long weekend - it was a beautiful one here in Toronto!

I'm sure a lot of you spent time up at the cottage this long weekend, or some of you may be delving into beach reading as we speak...what I want to know is: What are you reading?
The Blogger Book Club is working on our third (and in my opinion, best book yet) right now (review coming up July 16th!). This means we're at the exact right time to pick some new books for future book club reads.

What have you read lately that you loved and would want to see as the Blogger bookclub series? What book do you want to read and need an excuse to pick up and chat about with other readers?

Let me know via comments some titles you want to see on the upcoming bookclub list!

I'm in the middle of reading "Before I Go to Sleep" and it is FANTASTIC! I cannot put it down and I just want to be reading all the time... even though we are finally somewhere with beautiful weather. It keeps you guessing what's going to happen and what you find out next. A real page turner that I would definitely recommend!

Good question. We do need to get a lineup going don't we? Well there hasn't been much book reading at the beach in BC so far. It's been downright cold compared to your blistering hot summer.

I just picked up a new book - entirely because of the adorable title - called 'The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making.' I haven't cracked a page yet (and I'm not even sure it's adult fiction; might be 'tween?) but by the title alone I know it's promising. Keeping my fingers crossed!

um divergent... but perhaps that's too YA for the club... but it gets my vote!

I've hardly been doing any reading at all lately...hence my book club absence. Hope to be back on track sometime this summer....

ON my vacay, I read Sarah's Key which I liked, but didn't love. And then I read The Big Short about the global financial meltdown of 2008...one of the best books I've read in long time. Equally enthralling and highly disturbing. But really well written.

Would love to join for next book. Don't have any ideas for books, hence my latest post http://satoridesignforliving.com/2012/07/what-are-you-reading-this-summer/
Thanks for stopping by today. You blog is delightful!

I recently read and loved Sarah's Key ...and then because I was stuck on the topic, I read Clara's War (a true story told by an 80 year old holocaust survivor) which was also chilling. I am currently reading the Sisters Brothers but am struggling getting into a western! I need to get going on our book club read though, time is running out!!
