Here's our menu:
Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill Mushroom Soup - from the 3 Chefs cookbook, featuring the three chefs from Cityline (one of my Christmas presents). Although soup is always better after it sits for a day, we didn't have the chance to get it going yesterday, so it is cooking now and wil have several hours for the flavours to strengthen before dinner.Filet mignon, arugula with grape tomatoes, goat cheese, and prosciutto crisps with white balsamic vinagrette, garlic mashed potatoes, and bread (I could NEVER give up carbs).
For desert we will have carrot cake with cream cheese icing, from a Canadian Living recipe (it's dead easy).
Yumm.
