Pillow patterns

Ok...I have seen a bunch of pillow posts lately. Which kind of makes me feel mega-late on my pillow ideas / living room facelift. I've come to the conclusion that the green is out, and navy will be in. I want to do a mix of grey and navy, and then hopefully if the pillow gods are in my favor, this puppy for our gorgeously re-upholstered gray herringbone chair:

Here's a reminder of my sofa and living room:

Yep, I'm so over the green and brown ikat, and green pillows (I have 2 of the same on the other side of the sofa).

I've got 4 pillows to re-do (2 16" and 2 18"), and am thinking of navy and gray. ahhhh I LOVE navy right now (well pretty much always...but especially right now, and especially in my living room).  Here are some of my options:
Cameron Storm, via TonicLiving

Small ikat dot navy (also in gray) via Tonic Living

Zia birch navy (also available in charcoal), via TonicLiving

Right now I'm thinking 2 of the gray ones in 18" and one of each (16") of the navy ones.
Please excuse (aka stop laughing) at my lame-o attempt at a rendering. Oh, and our ghetto coffee table (still on the lookout...anyone know places in Toronto that will sell slabs of wood?)

What do you think? More navy, less grey? All 4 differernt (e.g. maybe one of the big ones in a gray version of one of the navys?)

Ha! I render my fabric options too ;) I like the navys. The more navys the better! You could also had a navy piping on the grey pillow to bring it all together.

I like the mix you've got going on, it's a very effective photo my dear. I would through in something fun and unexpected. But I'm the girl with the neon pink flocked deer in my living room... but this would be a bit more melow, but still a nice foil to all the straight lines https://www.etsy.com/listing/116115633/petrolium-blue-silk-velvet-round-pillow?

Perhaps try something with texture? Like a faux mongolian pillow perhaps. Keeps everything from looking to flat!

I LOVE the pillow from Chapters Indigo! It reminds me of the pillow you brought for me from West Elm when you visited. I still love it! I like the navy and grey look, and would see if you can mix some in one or two of your existing pillows too maybe, to add even more punch :)

Re: slabs of wood. There was a designer on Steven & Chris yesterday that did a tour of a wood place and also on Bryk House. Don't live in TO, so didn't pay attention to where they were located. Check out their websites I guess.

I love that first pillow so much. I love the navy option as well, and am a fan of the polka-dot too. But I would make sure the polka-dots are small print, not too big. I think you would get sick of big ones much more quickly, while a small repeat will be more subtle and classic. And I know you don't want to focus on the brown but maybe add a fabric with both the navy and a tone that will tie in the colour of the sofa? Just some thoughts

We bought a barn board for an office desk and love it from http://urbantreesalvage.com. They are in the east end and you can go to the showroom. Reasonable prices.
