And..here is the after:
Doesn't the space look amazing? Modern, yet warm and completly inviting. This is definitely the place everyone will go during parties, and the best part is that it's the perfect kitchen for that.
They also replaced the pantry door (left corner) with a white french door to tie in with the french doors on the right side of the kitchen, and add a nice traditional element to the modern kitchen style.
Overall I think this is an amazing transformation of a pretty hum-drum run of the mill kitchen, to a gorgeous, modern, and completely functional one (not to mention pretty to look at!). Here's some more eye candy:
(This might be my fave pic...I am in love with the couch, floors, and pillows as well as the kitchen!)

OMG... that view from the family room into the kitchen is spectacular! LOVE the sofa and those white bar stools.
I am in love with those cupboard doors! The colour, the style.....
BTW, how did you like "The Secret Daughter"? I thought it wasn't going to be my kind of thing, but I loved it! You?
Be-eautiful! Love this space ;)
I love how it works so well with the family room. The backsplash is so pretty and I'm sure the garbage pull-out will end up being their favourite feature :)
They did such a fabulous job! :) Great before and after! Thanks for sharing Heather!!
That is crazy!! Loving every single element of the transformation. I'd be up for a party in that kitchen any time!!
